OmniGraphSketcher

Graph Sketcher was born in 2002, when I discovered that no available software let me quickly make simple labeled diagrams for economics problem sets. More than five years later, I had written over 20,000 lines of code, the program had been downloaded more than 40,000 times, and users had bought over $10,000 in licenses.

In October 2008, Graph Sketcher was acquired by the Omni Group when I joined the company as a software developer. In March 2009, we publicly released the first version of OmniGraphSketcher. In April 2010, we released the first version of OmniGraphSketcher for iPad.

The Omni Group stopped selling OmniGraphSketcher (for both Mac and iPad) in July 2013 and made the codebase open source in January 2014. The GraphSketcher apps and code are now freely available to download and use.
